Funfair :- Is open through July &
August and is located about ½ mile from the site. As fairs go there is
plenty for everyone of all ages to do. Definitely worth going on the
rollercoaster and if you're not scared of heights, the viewing tower is
well worth it. Watch
out for local notices advertising half price evenings.

Horse riding:- Local stables next to
the fairground. For more experienced riders you can go on a hack to the beach
in the early evening and Gallop along the sandy beach. French horses ride
differently compared to English horses be careful. The stable also has a
cowboy style horse show.

Aqualand:- Well worth the drive to Agde which is
about 8 miles away. This is a water theme park that will keep you
entertained all day. Just take your swim suit and a towel and don't forget
the waterproof sun cream.

Canal du Midi:- The canal is about a 10 minute walk
away and is ideal to take a stroll, cycle along or take a day trip on a boat.

Go-Karting:- NUMBER ONE Go-Karting at La Tamarissiere
which is about 6 miles away towards Agde. They have 2 circuits one for the
Juniors with some dual seat karts and one for the real racers.. Definitely one
for the boys but they also allow girls on the track too!

Carcassonne:- The largest walled medieval city
in Europe. Well worth the 60 mile trip to see this wonderful sight. Within
the walls there are many small shops, restaurants and even a hotel.
Some people still live within the boundaries of the castle. There are
jousting tournaments and firework displays at certain times. Pick up a
leaflet at the on site tourist office.

Montpellier:- This historic city is about 40 miles to
the East along the Autoroute. Take the exit where you see B&Q and follow
the signs for the Park & Ride. The Tram takes you into the heart of the
city where you will enjoy many sites, restaurants or just shop.
